How the Lemon Law Refund is Calculated

Qualifying for a Claim

To qualify, the vehicle typically must have suffered a defect that substantially impairs its use, value, or safety. Common examples include transmission failures, engine stalling, electrical shorts, or braking issues. Repeated visits to the dealer (often 2+ for safety issues, 4+ for others, or 30+ cumulative days out of service) are required to establish a valid claim.
